Thank you for supplying me with my new diet. I love it! My weight hasn't dropped as much as I would have liked, but then I have had a few family events that have led to cheating - so what do I expect?
I am now 61.5kgs, after starting at 63kgs (I was 65kgs at the start of the year). But what a difference this small amount has made! I feel more defined pretty much everywhere - especially in my upper body and I have the makings of some abs. The slight weight drop has meant I can now do ring dips, and I have increased my strict pull up PB by 2reps (still short of my goal of 10, but getting there).
The main benefit is not the weight loss, it is the reduction of stress in my life that I can't get over (which is so amazing!). The limited diet doesn't seem boring to me as thats the sort of food I like anyway. But the structure means that it has been easy to prep meals in advance/night before for work. This has made my mornings significantly less stressful, and eating before I get hungry in the afternoon has pretty much eliminated my chocolate/yoghurt cravings. I am more in tune with my body, and I don't feel the need to overeat anymore.
So, where now? This is my new diet from now on, I see no reason to change! I am going on holiday in a couple of weeks and am going to relax the alcohol and dairy restrictions as you cannot go to Italy and not drink wine and eat gelato! But I intend to carry on indefinitely on my return. I have also seen improvements in my work outs as well now I am eating more brown carbs.
